Sustenance for Ministry

Continuing Education for Clergy is offered throughout the year. Our goal is to create learning environments that are challenging, creative, and worshipful, that build community, and that lead to personal and congregational transformation.

Clergy Leadership Conference is held in the Jackson, MS area during the last full week in January each year in partnership with the Mississippi Annual Conference Board of Ordained Ministry.

Pastors' School occurs yearly in September in north Mississippi and is also co-sponsored with the Board of Ordained Ministry.

The Art of Preaching, a seminar on preaching and the worship arts, is scheduled for the spring.

Theological Education for Laity is available in a variety of settings across the state. Using a model that combines gaining knowledge, faith formation, and skill development, the CFM invites laity to enhance their capacity for leadership within and beyond their local churches.

Spiritual Formation Workshops & Retreats are offered by Center staff for clergy, congregations, districts or clusters, and interdenominations groups.
