Preparation for Ministry

The Mississippi Course of Study(MSCOS)provides the required five year sequence of classes for psrt-time licensed Local Pastors. These classes are offered four times a year on the Millsaps Campus with Mississippi pasotrs and lay leaders as instructors. More than 400 persons from more than 10 annual conferences participate in an average year. The MSCOS is an extension of Candler School of Theology's Course of Study program.

Journey Partners is a two-year training program in spiritual direction, the classic practice of Christian guidance. Limited to twenty-five persons, participants areimmersed in a series of retreats, readings, and supervision, with Wendy Miller from Eastern Mennonite Seminary as instructor.
