Training in Spiritual Direction
- A two-year program of training in the Christian tradition of Spiritual Direction
- Open to both laity and clergy of all denominations and faith traditions
- Designed to deepen each participant’s personal faith journey
- Offered in six retreats held at the Duncan Gray Episcopal Retreat Center in Canton, Mississippi
- Led by The Reverend Wendy Miller, noted author, teacher, pastor and spiritual director
- Focused on
- readings from classic and contemporary spiritual writings
- supervised experiential learning to develop each participant’s capacity to accompany others
- spiritual direction within congregations and missional settings
- Qualifies for seminary credit through Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois
- Scheduled to begin a new class in March 2012

Sustaining a Community of Spiritual Directors
- A community designed to nurture and sustain trained spiritual directors who are engaged in the ministry of spiritual guidance
- Open to all alumni of the Journey Partners training process and other trained spiritual directors
- Offered in three formats
- Seasons of the Soul: 4 retreats each year for continued learning and formation
- Supervision Peer Groups: ongoing geographical groups for support and accountability, and one-day gatherings focused on supervision for the larger community
- Day Retreats: time apart for silence and holy conversation
