Continuing Education

The Lord has given me the tongue of a teacher,
that I may know how to sustain the weary with a word.
Morning by morning God wakens--
wakens my ear to listen as those who are taught.
The Lord God has opened my ear,
and I was not rebellious,
I did not turn backward.
--Isaiah 50:4-5
The Center for Ministry affirms lifelong learning as a sign of faithfulness and a pathway toward excellence for lay persons and clergy. Our goal is to create educational environments
- that are challenging, creative, and worshipful
- that build community among participants, and
- that lead to personal and congregational transformation
