Clay F. Lee, a native of Mississippi, has taught in the Mississippi Conference COS School for the past nine years. Prior to his election to the episcopacy in 1988, Caly had been a member fo the Mississippi Conference for 38 years. During that time he served various appointments, incuding Galloway Memorial UMC in downtown Jackson for 12 years, Superintendant of the Brookhaven District, and Conference Council Director. Clay was named as the Preacher for the United Methodist Series of the Protestant Hour in 1987. His sermons for that series were published in a volume entitled, "JESUS NEVER SAID EVERYONE WAS LOVABLE." The broadcasts were carried in this country by over 500 radio stations and around the world by the Armed Forces Network. Clay teaches COS 412 -- Methodist Movement.
