Journey Partners -- Training in Spiritual Direction

RESOURCE PERSON: A noted teacher and practitioner of spiritual direction, Rev. Wendy Miller is the author of Invitation to Presence and Jesus, Our Spiritual Director. She is Assistant Professor of Spiritual Formation at Eastern Mennonite Seminary in Virginia, where she has taught for the past fourteen years. In addition to her seminary degree from Associated Mennonite Seminary, Wendy holds Masters degrees from Eastern Mennonite Seminary and General Theological Seminary. She directs the Summer Institute for Spiritual Formation at Eastern Mennonite and guides several training programs in spiritual direction around the U.S.

A native of England, Wendy and her husband Ed are the parents of five children and delight in their eleven grandchildren.

COST:(includes program fee, room, and board) $500 per retreat, $1500 per year. A limited number of scholarships is available.

CEU: Full participation = 4 Continuing Education Units per year. Completion of all JP work qualifies for 6 hours toward United Methodist requirements for Certification in Spiritual Formation upon registration with Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary (www.gbhem.org)
