 ou to come to the Gray Center and join us for a day of quiet
  and retreat. Whether novice or experienced we are reminded 
 daily that we always begin again.Jesus said to them, “Come a
 way to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest awhile.” 
 Our “Day Apart” will be held in the rhythm of prayer, reflec
 tion and solitude. Our guide for the day will be Rev. Dianne
  Braman, LCSW. She will light the candle; hold the day and t
 he space sacred where those gathered may be open to encounte
 r the presence of the Holy.We will begin with a prayer of ga
 thering and be given guidance for times of being in communit
 y across the day. These gathered times invite us to pray, wa
 lk the labyrinth, practice spiritual disciplines or discover
  our creative spirits through artistic expressions. The paus
 es in between will offer space for solitude, personal reflec
 tion and rest. We will conclude with prayers of blessing and
  sending forth.Drinks and snacks will be provided. Bring you
 r own lunch or you may choose to engage in the discipline of
  fasting for the day. There will be structured guidance. For
  those who wish, they may self-direct their day between the
